The most economical way to ship a small item domestically & internationally in the US

What's the most economical way to ship a very small item domestically and internationally in the US? I am thinking about shipping a small bottle of ink (not fragile since it's in a plastic bottle) to a friend. The size of this bottle is: 3"x1"x1". What's my most economical option?

Thank you in advance!!

US Mail - bubble cushion envelope - it will still cost about $1.75 to ship, plus the cost of the bubble mailer

The thickness of the bottle automatically adds 90 cents to the postage costs

UPS minimum is a lot more than $2.00
