How to maximize rtpmdump to obtain the highest quality file [Ubuntu Linux]?

ok so using this route with rtmpdump i seem to be getting no higher than 640 x 360 video files whether from 4Od or iplayer when i know that they are sometimes much higher [480 or even 720]

example tested today using rtmpdump on its own then get-iplayer

so my question is and i cannot see the settings on rtmpdump manpage or even googling it how do i ensure rtmpdump targets the highest quality file available for download
