Is the Kindle DX available in the Amazon UK? Or can I import it from Amazon USA?

Is the Kindle DX available in the Amazon UK? I've looked on Amazon UK and I get no results but when I check Google it says it ships in the UK.

Would I be able to import the US version from Amazon USA without any problems?

The Kindle DX is available from Amazon USA, but they do ship to the UK.

On the Kindle DX page click onto the link in the "Live Outside the U.S.?" box and select United Kingdom. You should see the UK specific information, including the following:
