 Indivbox.key Question

First, I am a newbie, I think this forum is great! I only joined today.
I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I recently did a reinstall of WinXP, and as I now know (but didn't realise at the time), I can no longer get a low version IBX number (it is now 11.0.6001.8015), even though I am using WinMP10 and all the associated .dll files (in the system32 folder) are version 10. Fairuse4WM no longer works!
Anyway, I do have a workingWMP10 with a low number version IBX on my laptop, but the windows installation is full of crap and has become very slow, so ideally I want to reinstall windows on it again. So my question is this - if I were to make a back up of the indivbox.key, reinstall windows, then copy the indivbox.key file back to the laptop again (after installing WinMP10), would it work? Copying indivbox.key files across different partitions on the same computer have produced errors for me. Thanks in advance.
