Help with streaming videos wireless over home network (fix network lags)?
I have a desktop PC wired into a wireless g/n gaming router, this is acting as my server for my videos/music. I have two laptops connected wirelessly to my router, both with wireless n capabilities. every time I try to stream videos over my network they start fine, but after about 1-3 minutes of streaming, they start to lag and jump around. I thought it might be because my desktop was running windows vista, and the laptops were running windows 7, or maybe my desktop had too many side tasks running. So I bought a new copy of windows 7 and wiped my vista on my desktop. Now with nothing but windows 7, and my videos and music on my desktop the problem persists.
Has anyone had the same problems with streaming wireless video and know a good fix? or does anyone know what the problem is in the first place?
