help on burning copyrighted DVDsI'm having computer problems right now. It is taking so long to download some files and it seems like it's crawling. I cannot determine what could have possibly gone wrong. The last time I did was I was trying to burn a copy protected DVD. I was looking forward to see the video of a movie. I was looking for some online help and stumbled into an article. It says in how to burn copy protected DVDs that it really takes so much of your hard disk space. What can I possibly do about it? Should I buy larger hard disk space, or partioning it will do good too?

Re: help on burning copyrighted DVDsI rip copy-protected DVDs using free DVD Decrypter. Unfortunately DVD Decrypter project has been shut down and you can't download it from official web-site or its mirrors.
When you rip a one-layer DVD you need less than 5 Gb of free hard disk space. And dual-layer DVDs require up to 9 Gb of free hard disk space. 300 Gb hard disk costs about $100 so I don't really understand how can 9 Gb frighten you. When converting DVD-9 (dual-layer) to DVD-5 (single layer) you may use AnyDVD. I recompile DVD-9 to DVD-5 with Nero 7 directly from my DVD drive (AnyDVD can remove almost any known DVD protection. And with AnyDVD you may even copy your copy-protected DVD to hard disk using Windows Explorer). |

Re: help on burning copyrighted DVDsI use CloneDVD to copy-protected DVDs, but it only can remove protections as following:CSS, RC, RCE, UOPs and Sony ARccOS. I donn't know whether it is you need.
