how to extract the url/rtmp/rtsp information for the stream that is in the html code

I know many, of you, can find the stream url in a web page's html code but I don't have the time nor the
ability to do it often.

I want to play streams in VLC. when I looked for
software to help find the stream in the html code
I found sniffers and snoopers but they were for a
bit stream (I think).

Can you help me find software, or give good advice,
how to extract the url/rtmp/rtsp information for the stream that is in the html code for a video window or page?
