Experiencing problems with neulion streams

I've been playing neulion streams with ffmpeg the past year. About a month or two ago they suddenly started dropping the key requests with a 403 Forbidden.

I cannot make sense of it. I've been using this command but it suddenly has this problem:

So I did some digging and it turns out neulion key requests fail with ffmpeg 3.0 -- but they work fine (as they have for the past year) if I downgrade back to ffmpeg 2.8.5

Does anyone know how to make them work with ffmpeg 3.0?
