Difference Between WM Capture & Replay Media Catcher

Could someone explain the difference between WM Capture and Replay Media Catcher. I purchased Media Catcher several weeks ago and have been reasonably satisfied although there are many instances where it will not work on some sites and that maybe a rights issue with adobe, I'm not sure. A friend has suggested that WM Capture works better and I see it's partnered thru Applian's site, is there any difference and if so please explain.

Re: Difference Between WM Capture & Replay Media Catcher

Replay Media Catcher downloads streams, so you get identical copies of them bit by bit.

Replay Capture Suite and WM Capture can record anything from screen. Of course they lose some quality while recording. But they can record video of any stream format and protocol. Please note that your computer should be powerful enough to compress video in real time.

Replay Media Catcher can download several streams simultaneously. And while it can be problematic to capture HD videos from screen, you can always download them.

Please note that Replay Video Capture is identical to WM Capture. You can upgrade Replay Media Catcher to the Replay Capture Suite. Or you can just can get Replay Video Capture with a discount as an owner of Media Catcher.

Thanks for the quick reply. I believe I will go ahead and upgrade to the Capture Suite and play with the new toys!

Although Applian offers a 30-day unconditional money-back gurantee, I always recommend to try a demo version before buying.
