| connecting DVR to Internet using 3G Sierra WirelessHello people ! My Internet is a 3G wireless connection and I've been trying to connect my DVR to the Internet by connecting a LAN directly to my PC with no success every time I try to login using the VideoViewer software it always says "login failed". Is it possible to connect a DVR to the net directly to a PC sharing the Internet connection ?... I don't have a problem connecting my Xbox this way. cheers |

| Re: connecting DVR to Internet using 3G Sierra WirelessHi! I have the same login problem but with a little more complexity. I have a usb dongle connected to my pc through which i access my internet, I connected a router's lan port to this pc for my laptops to connect to the internet wirelessly, now i connected a DVR to the Lan port of router which i can access from any PC in the Local area network. I have installed a port forwarding software called spf on my server which forwards the access from the internet to the dvr, I get the login screen but every time it says login failed , even if i turn off the internet explorer password option in the DVR setup. No problem with the local access. need help. please. |
