How can I connect my computer to HDTV wirelessly?

I have a duel screen monitor setup but now I want to connect my new HDTV (which is across the room) as a third screen. How would I do this? Thanks so much!!

Re: How can I connect my computer to HDTV wirelessly?

Some TVs have Wi-Fi support (for example, Sony Bravia KDL-40NX700), so you can connect them wirelessly.

You can also use a network media player with Wi-Fi support (like WD TV Live HD Media Player) to connect your computer to HDTV wirelessly. You will also need a DLNA server software (such as Windows Media Center).

Re: How can I connect my computer to HDTV wirelessly?

Intel WiDi (Wireless Display Interface) allows to connect laptops to an HDTV. It uses standard 802.11n wireless technologies for data transmission. The laptop needs to have Intel Wireless Display software installed. And an adapter featuring Intel Wireless Display is required to receive the signals from the PC that display them on the HDTV. This adapter can be connected to the HDTV via HDMI or standard AV cable.
