How to broadcast live?

Hi,

I want to shoot an event and broadcast it abroad so it can be viewed on a screen. But I am not sure what is the recommended data rate or what kind of live codecs should I use.

1. What is the data rate I need per resolution? and how should I take the screen size on client side as a in considuration? is there a formula?
2. What kind of codec would you recommend? and why?
3. Can you think of a way to broadcast it? can it be done throgh cellular network? Satellite?
