As I noticed the website http://www.youtholympicgames.org/ uses the same difficult-to-break method of authorization as eurovisionsports.tv. Of course I'm able to capture everything using rtmpsuck in Ubuntu 10.04 after redirecting port 1935 (it's described here (http://stream-recorder.com/forum/use-rtmpsuck-ubuntu-10-04-lucid-lynx-t7070.html)). My computer is too slow to effectively work with Virtual Machine so I had to install it separately. It's uncomfortable to switch over to another OS every time I want to record something. So is there any free way to capture this type of rtmp stream under Windows? I have tried Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) and Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) and they are working very well but can record only one minute because I have no money to buy them.

You need software that can capture RTMP packets to record videos from youtholympicgames.org .

Besides Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) and Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) you can try to capture RTMP packets with freeware Orbit Grab Pro and CooJah (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Blader-freeware-RTMP-downloader.htm).

You can also record live RTMP streams with screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/)

Blader recognizes the stream but doesn't capture and reports: Current Status:Error Unknown!
Last Error:Success

When I click 'download' in StreamTransport (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/StreamTransport-Download-HTTP-RTMP-RTMPE-streams.htm), it only shows a task but no recording.

I tried also rtmpsrv which reports:
Streaming on rtmp://0.0.0.0:1935
WARNING: Trying different position for client digest!

Orbit Grab Pro even doesn't recognize any stream.

It looks like only Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm), Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) and rtmpsuck can capture this type of stream provided that the browser is still open. I think this software uses another method of capturing.

Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm), Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) and rtmpsuck allow you to capture RTMP packets from your flash player. Although Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) and Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) can download RTMP streams as well.

Also Freeware Orbit Grab Pro and CooJah (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Blader-freeware-RTMP-downloader.htm) can capture RTMP packets. Orbit Grab Pro fails, so you can try to use Coojah (without Blader).

I have noticed that I'm using an older relase of CooJah so I resolved to download the newest one (v. 6.8.193.0614). It works for me very well. Of course it's possible to capture a stream provided that I keep my browser open but if I understand well there's no other way to capture these RTMP streams.
Thanks for your help!
