I am very grateful to you for such a nice website that teaches everyone so many clever tricks that would be otherwise impossible for an individual to learn. All these years I've followed this website and been successful in downloading every type of streaming video. But I don't understand why I am not able to get one simple video. Its an flv streaming file using rtmp protocol. I've tried all tricks and softwares like : Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm), FLV Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/FLV-Recorder-flash-video-stream-recording-software.htm), URL Snooper (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Project-URL-Snooper-Find-the-actual-stream-URL-Free-download.htm), colasoft capsa, Bit Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Bit-Recorder-Capture-RTMP-HTTP-audio-video-streams-from-Flash-player.htm), Orbit Downloader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Download-manager-Orbit-Downloader-Record-HTTP-MMS-RTSP-RTMP-media-streams-Freeware.htm) (doesn't even sniff the URL) etc. but none is working correctly, I've been wasting time for over a week now. But I've not tried rtmpdump because I can't figure out how to use it. The URL of the video is :
http://www.rajshri.com/preview.aspx?cntid=35285

Atmost the softwares record around 80% of the file but none have been able to record 100%. I request you to kindly take time from your busy schedule and try your experienced hands on this one (kindly register free in a few seconds on that website, if it asks) and let me know by what method you're able to record 100% of the file (the full duration of the file is 22min 57sec). I was at first reluctant to contact you but I got fed up after giving my 100%. I've been able to find this till now but Orbit Downloader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Download-manager-Orbit-Downloader-Record-HTTP-MMS-RTSP-RTMP-media-streams-Freeware.htm) cannot download anything from this url :
rtmp://rajshri-20.fcod.llnwd.net/a1005/d1/secure/tvshows/ramayan/RamayanEp-1_flv_High?s=1246560184&e=1246992184&h=8a21d6acb01 43a6e3b5f226dd63d5bfa

Kindly do help me out because you're my last hope and if you need any help from my side do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks very much

IMHO the most reliable RTMP Flash stream recorders (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-Adobe-Flash-FLV-videos.htm) are Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) and Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm). I don't recommend FLV Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/FLV-Recorder-flash-video-stream-recording-software.htm) and Bit Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Bit-Recorder-Capture-RTMP-HTTP-audio-video-streams-from-Flash-player.htm) due to lack of necessary updates and support.

Orbit Downloader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Download-manager-Orbit-Downloader-Record-HTTP-MMS-RTSP-RTMP-media-streams-Freeware.htm) is free and its a big advantage, but it is not a good RTMP downloader.

Please note that software like Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) can download 75% of the stream in the demo mode, so you need to buy it in order to download 100% of the video. The same it with Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm).

NetXFer (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/NetXFer-Saving-Windows-Media-Real-Audio-Video-QT-streaming-to-hd.htm) can download 100% of the stream in the trial mode. It supports RTMP streams as well.

It will take lots of time for me to test the stream with Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) or any other RTMP Flash stream recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-Adobe-Flash-FLV-videos.htm). Please let me know whether you were using demo versions of software or not.

I have tested Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) and it recorded 100% of the video stream.

Thanks for your reply ! Yes I am using the full version of Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) but how could you record 100% of the file, I gave it many attempts. Could you please post a screenshot from the end of the video so I can see that the file is complete.

Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) (RMC) also gave me a error stating that partial stream was saved anyway.

Just tried it with the trial version of NetXFer (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/NetXFer-Saving-Windows-Media-Real-Audio-Video-QT-streaming-to-hd.htm) and got 100% of the file, thanks so much for your support, without it I would never have been able to acomplish this.
