I can't seem to download silverlight wmv videos from this website

I'm using WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) 14

WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) has downloaded an HTTP .wmv file, but I can't play it.

May be it is an ISMV file and it needs a codec to be able to play it.

What kind of problem exactly do you have?

Well yeah, i had that exact same problem..

WMRecorder wouldn't download the video at first, then I used Orbit to grab the link to the direct file, entered that inside my WMR and downloaded..

Couldn't play it.. WMV is WMV, so I have no idea if i need a different codec for that
Very strange indeed..

Since I can't play it, I can't convert it.. Any chance i can check what kind of codec i need?

If the web-site uses ISMV, then you can play it:

If not, at the present time I don't really know how to help.

This is what VLC told me when I tried to play it
