i want to download a music video from CMT.com how can i do it?? i have try downloading videos from youtube and other web, it work....but only for CMT.com

The only thing I can recommend is to use screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) like Replay Video Capture (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/Replay-Video-Capture-Make-high-quality-recordings-from-anything-you-see-on-PC-screen.htm).

That's totally incorrect Tasha. My version was installed long before the "cut-off" date as you refer to it and it was updated and therefore has been changed as I can no longer capture CMT videos and others using RTMPE.

Well, I can’t believe that RMC was synonym to Secure RTMP video stream recorder and that the users are / were using it ONLY for such a purpose… RMC has a free of charge trial period and anyone can decide by their own if this is what they are looking for. I understand your frustration, back in the 90’s I lived a same one (or maybe a worse one) when MTV switched from Analog to Digital MPEG broadcast! But with my “obsolete” setup I was able to watch many other channels, enough for not being forced to throw it away. I still believe that you shall not burn a good coat if there is a flea in it! My 2 cents.

I have Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) 3.01 and can't record any music videos from cmt.com. I bet that this version of RMC has the best version of plugin_zrtmp.dll plug-in.

Solutions to the problem:

Record videos using screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/)
Record videos from alternative web-sites
Wait whether there will be other programs supporting secure RTMP protocol or not.

I understand your frustration, but you shouldn't be upset before you really need to record any RTMPE stream.

And if you have the Replay Capture Suite (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Capture-Suite-Audio-video-streaming-capture-software-bundle.htm) (you can always upgrade to the suite if you have any programs from it) or Replay Video Capture (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/Replay-Video-Capture-Make-high-quality-recordings-from-anything-you-see-on-PC-screen.htm), you can record anything from your screen. Stream ripping gives better quality, but in case of problematic streams screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) is the only option.

Here's the thing ... we use to be able to capture CMT video using RMC v3.0.1, now we can't. So calypso, it isn't a matter of using the trial software to determine if a purchase of this program meets our needs. It did, now it doesn't. And yes, capturing from CMT was my chief reason for using this program.

The problem is that we can't download from CMT anymore with Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm), because of the Adobe update, not because of the new plug-in.

But Applian can neither update the plugin_zrtmp.dll, nor even distribute the old plug-in as mentioned in the following message:

Yes, that's true and the old plug-ins don't work either and had that been stated previously or in the Applian link you refer to this discussion could have ended long ago.

In the article to refer to there are several areas that could have (and should have) been better communicated. I have already pointed out some previously in this thread, but here's another one.

It states (in so many words) that no changes will be made to v3.0.1 if it was installed prior to the of January 28. It overlooks the fact that, by default, this program is set up to automatically install all updates.
