I've been downloading quite a few shows from byutv.org without any problems. However, I am running into some real issues with this show:

I've been using Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) but it just gives errors for this show, although it has been working with a bunch of other shows. I tried using StreamTransport (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/StreamTransport-Download-HTTP-RTMP-RTMPE-streams.htm) but it wouldn't download either.

I have access to both ubuntu and windows machines so I'm open to trying anything but I'd really like to get these 8 episodes. Thanks for help in advance.

I tried using stream transport but it wouldn't download either.
Use the version 2041(only need to disable firewall).;)

In ubuntu you can use rtmpdump (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rtmpdump-freeware-console-RTMP-downloading-application.htm) with rtmpsrv or rtmpsuck.

It wouldn't work for me on 4.1.7 even though I've tried multiple times. However, I did follow chap's suggestion and upgraded my stream transport. It worked great! Thanks!!

I meant the current version.....4.1.6. I just got a little confused. :D

BTW, I actually got it to work with Media Catcher by getting the feed from stream transport, then doing a manual download in media catcher. I prefer media catcher since it downloads so much faster.

If you want to download byutv video to MP4, WMV, AVI, FLV, MOV, MP3 etc,You can use Allavsoft

In terms of download speed and stability, when downloading videos from Byutv in HD, houlo video downloader (http://houlo.com/houlo-video-downloader) is way too better.
