I found Wondershare Streaming Video Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Wondershare-Streaming-Video-Recorder-Download-video-stream-and-convert.htm). The web-site says the program can record streaming videos and supports HTTP, RTSP, MMS and RTMP protocols. Has anybody tried it? I'm worried that this is a malware and I don't want any viruses on my computer.

If you try Wondershare Streaming Video Recorder, please let me know whether it works with RTMP web-sites and what antiviruses and antimalware you used to check it for malware, spyware and viruses.

I don't like Wondershare as well as other brands used by this company (iSkysoft, Aimersoft, Aiseesoft, Tipard), because they send lots of spam. We've received lots of spam posts in the forum from them.

But I downloaded and tested Wondershare Streaming Video Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Wondershare-Streaming-Video-Recorder-Download-video-stream-and-convert.htm). I was able to download live RTMP audio streams from BBC radio, but wasn't able to download RTMP videos from 4tube.com, UStream.TV, qvcuk.com, rtp.pt, samesame.com.au. The dowloaded RTMP streams from byutv.org, everythingontv.com were unplayble.

Now there are 2 reasons not to use their software:
-Poor RTMP downloading
-Spam
