Hi I am new to streaming video recording. I bought WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) of the appalachinans mountain team and it does not record anything.

I contacted the their help line and was told I would get a reply in 20mins. To cut a long story they did not help me with my problem which Is I am not getting a recording.

WM recorder shows a message on the screen: Invalid UrL or No UrL is provided, enter UrL in the UrL window.

I have read the WM manual but still no sucess. I have tried different setting permatations and still I cant get it to record any video. Any help is welcome.

"Invalid URL or No URL provided" message usually appears in the URL mode. This mode of WM Recorder is used only if you know the exact URL of the stream. In most cases I get this message in the URL mode when I haven't entered the filename. I wish the filename can be generated automatically in the URL mode, but it is not...

But there are two other modes of WM Recorder: ADA and PRO. ADA should be used by default. I also suggest you to use "Auto recording" with ADA or PRO, because this allows to record audio/video streams automatically (All you need to do is to play an audio/video stream you wanna record).

So switch to ADA Auto recording mode and try to capture your stream again.

Please note that some audio/video streams can't be recorded. You can post the URL here so that we can test it to make sure that WM Recorder or any other streaming media recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/all-streaming-video-recording-software.htm) can handle the stream.
