Hi

I'm using WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) 12.3 and trying to record some video streams.

When doing so, the recorder seems to get the timing wrong and records fine, but reaches 100% recording time way before the video is done...

This happens no matter what video i try to record and i cannot find a reason for this.

Does anybody have the same problem or know of a solution to this problem??

Hi Ts,

Have you verified the recorded clip to see if it really is complete? Generally, if a file shows 100% or Complete in the status window, then the full clip has been recorded.

Wmr can often record at up to 5 times the speed of the streaming video, for example...a 100 minute clip could be possibly recorded in 20 minutes.
The recording may stop a lot faster than the play time. It will download (DL) to 100%. Some downloads show completion at less then 100% (ex: 86%, or 99%) – especially the RM types. Play them back to verify the recording.

Compare the recorded clip with the original and you’ll see that most likely it is complete.

Hi...

I have compared the recording with the source video. The source video has just a little under 27 minuttes of video and the recording has just under 5. The recording only has a size of around 6 mb.

I have tried with another video and it seems to be the same there. The recording stops short of the total video.

The actual recorded video is great, so the connection is fine, but not good enough...

Soy, found the restrictions... But that still does not explain my problem, since one of the videos i have tried with is under 4 minuttes and here it only records around 1 - 1? minuttes

trying with some CBT Nuggets...

There are some free videos.. I cannot get them to record correct... Have access to some paid videos and the same problem occurs with them

I tried to record a free video with WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) 12.4 in the ADA mode and it was recorded successfully.

What mode do you use, PRO or ADA?
