Recently, I have done a JTV Launcher, that is a small program to analyse the Justin.tv channel and dump the stream to VLC player.
The function is similar to "Justin.tv live downloader" by toine512. Moreover, I add some new feature to it.
1. Support private channel
2. Support new SwfURL
btw, it is command line interface and no graphic on it:D
you can input the parameters (channel_id and password) and it will dump it automatically
usage:
JTV_LAUNCHER.exe channel_name password
I'm new in programming, please give me some opinions on my work. Thank you=]

Seems nice!
I tried with the channel "resident_fail", it shows 'connected' and the counters (KB/sec) are increasing, also vlc opens but there is no video/sound.
I try using it in two ways. First going to the directory on cmd and typing the command "JTV_LAUNCHER.exe resident_fail" and double clicking on JTV_LAUNCHER.exe and typing the channel name.
Am I doing something wrong? Sorry for asking the question
(using VLC 2.0 and the channel 'resident_fail' don't have the options to change quality on twitch.tv)

Great mate but any chance of making it open source so people can add/build upon it. Just dont want it to go the same route as rtmpexplorer. :o
https://sourceforge.net/projects/jtvlauncher/files/source/v1.1/
I have uploaded the main.cpp to sourceforge~
btw, my code is messy XD

You may try the nightly build of VLCPlayer. It's because the stable version(2.0.1) has some bug on stdout.
Moreover, there are some codec of streaming will cause VLC player have no sound.
