I basically need a walk-through on how to remove drm, using words a computer illiterate would understand. I've tried various programs and I can't figure out how they work.

And I'm afraid there will be no user guides for them that are meant for computer illiterate users.

As for lossy DRM removal software (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/) like Soundtaxi (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/SoundTaxi-Convert-DRM-protected-music-from-Windows-Media-Player-iTunes-Napster-Yahoo-Music-Rhapsody.htm) or Tunebite (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/TuneBite-Convert-DRM-protected-WMV-M4P-M4V-video-WMA-AAC-M4B-AA-music-audio-books-preserving-ID3-tags.htm) (that just re-record sound or/and videos), their user guides that come with software or can be found on their homepages should be easy enough for a computer illiterate.
