Hello,

I am sorry if I post this message in incorrect forum.

I am looking for a virtual camera which supports streaming video as a source.

I am looking something like Manycam (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-webcam-video-and-audio/Manycam-Use-your webcam-with multiple-programs-simultaneously.htm) , but it doesn't support streaming (rtsp://....) as a source.

I will appreciate it if someone can help me.

Thank you in advance.

VLC player allows to re-broadcast RTSP streams, but I don't really know how to use it as a virtual web-cam. But you can record your stream and then use the video as your source for a Virtual web-cam software.

You can also play an RTSP stream on your screen and then use virtual web-cam software that allows you to share your desktop.

You can try to use VH Multi Camera Studio for converting RTSP stream into a virtual webcam video supported by many programs. It works fine with Skype (http://all-streaming-media.com/non-streaming/Skype-Free-worldwide-calls-over-the-Internet-Cheap-international-phone-calls-to-landlines-and-mobiles-Windows-Linux-MacOS-X-Pocket-PC.htm).

How to use RTSP webcam in programs not supporting IP web-cams:

Download and install VH Multi Camera Studio
Launch VH Multi Camera Studio.
Click "Add URL" and in the "Select URL to capture from" editbox enter your rtsp:// URL.
Hit the "Ok" button. You should be able to see your web-cam video now.
Check the "Enable Output to VHMulticam Video Capture Device" and the "Default source (VHMulticam connects to this)" checkboxes.
In Manycam (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-webcam-video-and-audio/Manycam-Use-your webcam-with multiple-programs-simultaneously.htm) or any other program (including Skype) use "VHMultiCam" as a web-cam device.

Note that VH Multi Camera Studio doesn't seem to support h.264 rtsp:// videos from web-cams.
