Please excuse this post if it is outside the parameters of this forum. I have reviewed the basic suggestions and see some avenues to pursue but before I download a bunch of software only to discover it is futile can someone please advise if they have successfully caputured streams from ulive.com like http://www.ulive.com/video/all-family-all-the-time ?
I have tried a variety of tools in the past including WM recorder and i think RMR without success other than in screen capture mode, which ends up with glitches due to my slower machines.
I did a search of this site via google as I was unable to find an internal search option and found no reference to ulive. In fact a web search only turned up this thread that seemed relevant: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CDwQFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fforum.videohelp.com%2Fthreads%2F3 40695-Please-help-me-capture-this-stream(CBS)&ei=ba4cU4H8CM2FkQfq1oCQDw&usg=AFQjCNGBkeBETudBDn8NJ_eN3gHxT3Sxgw&sig2=0oU-dvq84kuGD4CUmDLhNA . That seems to indicate that at least back then it was possible to use RTMP Explorer successfully but I tried it without success. RTMP Explorer shifts to a different url at ulive and displays it with things all overlapping, etc. and even when i can find a link within the page to go to a video it does not connect.
Thanks in advance for any assistance or pointers in the right direction.
