I'm trying to use VDownloader to download a youtube video (http://vixy.net/) and save it as mp3 but for every video I try it says "New download..has been added.." but the video doesn't start downloading and I get an error with "The error occurred during execution of task.."

I performed a test (help > perform test) and it downloaded successfully from about half the sites tested, but still had an error for youtube.

I tried disabling the firewall with no improvement.

I have downloaded tons of videos from youtube using VDownloader some months ago and it used to work perfectly. What's wrong with it now? Is anyone else having the same problem? :confused:

Not sure about VDownloader, but you may download youtube videos for free using dozens of other programs including Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-download-and-capture-streaming-music-radio-video.htm), Freecorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-audio-stream/FreeCorder-Toolbar-Free-sound-recorder-software-Windows.htm), Video DownloadHelper,...
