hi friends,

I've been searching for a tool which makes me availeble to find the URL of drm stream from a internet tv channel.

I am a member of this and i will onyl want to play it with my windows media player.otherweise I must logg in to the their site with a IE.
and if the site have problem,so I cant watch the channels..(with windows media,it works)

but now I have no url ,mms, rstp from the streams:(

can you help me?

I've already tryed url snooper but if i put the url in wm ,it doesnt work.

You can try WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) to find URLs of Windows Media streams. WMR is free for finding stream URLs.

You can also try freeware URL Snooper (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Project-URL-Snooper-Find-the-actual-stream-URL-Free-download.htm).

p.s. Why do you think that the stream is DRM protected?

hi..

I am a user and have a subscription.

I logg in the site and for first time muss tape or put the username and password for the drm protection (license) and then I can watch it.

they have an update their site and changed the stream url which I found and watch with windows media player.

but know I can not find the url from the site:(

have already tried url snooper..

If you need to enter login and password, it doesn't mean that DRM protection is used.

Do you watch their stream(s) in the embedded windows media player now?

sure ,it is drm protected,i have to reset drm,cause the support wanted me to do this.

yes I can watch tv ,if I go to the site and logg me in.
but I must already have a license.

but the url from tools dont work with windows media player.

I don't really have any access to DRM protected streams, so it is hard to say.

May be trying HTTP, RTSP and MMS protocols can help. May be using RTSP and MMS default ports can help. May be they use some kind of authentication that prevents you from opening streaming content in a standllone WMP.

From Streaming media protocols (http://all-streaming-media.com/faq/streaming-media/faq-streaming-media-protocols.htm):
HTTP protocol usually uses port 80 or 8080
The default port for MMS is 1755
The default port for RTSP is 554.

Although I'm pretty skeptical that this will help, you can try the following combinations:

Up till now, using URL Snooper (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Project-URL-Snooper-Find-the-actual-stream-URL-Free-download.htm) or any other program you could find the stream link, copy paste to ur windows media player and it would work from there, if you had the drm license.

3 weeks ago, the url you find on their website would no longer work in windows media player. However using WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) (WMR) you were still able to record the stream.

The way it recorded the stream was, you going on to their website, logging in, and pressing play, WMR would automatically start recording the media streaming.

1 week later this stopped working too, now you can't even record stream with WMR.

Do you know any possible way around this?

Do you still use the PRO mode of WMR when recording DRM-protected streams? Any links that we can test?

I see. The authentication variable is what prevents you from watching in your WMP. Sometimes such streams can be opened in a standalone player, but usually it needs to be done very fast. And sometimes you can't use any standalone player for watching such streams.

The only thing that I can't understand is why WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) can't find the URL here...

Its not that WM Recorder can't find the link, its starts trying to record but after a few tries it just says connection closed.

In the PRO mode WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) captures packets from WMP, so this is really weird. Please PM me the details of the web-site or write directly to the developer.

yes we talk about the same site.

I hope we can solve this problem and we can watch it without logging on the site,cause they dont support 16:9 or 16:10 and on theit site you can see it only with 4:3.
