Hello,

shortly I am using a so called MediaPlayer (Freecom) to watch some of my movies (divX, mpeg, etc.) on my TV. That works very fine. Also, I can watch over LAN movies that are stored on my PC on my TV. So, I asked myself if it isn't possible to play the channels that I pick up with the TVUPlayer also over my TV, using the network (LAN) and the mediaplayer?
I have no TV-Card, so I have and want to use my MediaPlayer, if possible.

Does anybody has some experience with that?

Just to explain more: The MediaPlayer (MM) is connected vis LAn with the PC and with composite to the TV. Over the MM i can pick files (divx, mpeg, mp3 etc.) from the PC and klick to start them to watch them.

Thanks so much for any suggestion.

You can record TV Shows from TVUPlayer with PPRecorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/PPRecorder-record-p2p-internet-TV-channels-PPLive-PPStream-Coolstreaming-QQLive-SopCast-Feidian-TV-Ants.htm) and then watch them as you previously did. Please note that at this moment PPRecorder supports only older version of TVUPlayer.

VLC player (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-windows-media-and-real-video.htm#VLC) can re-broadcast streams, however I don't really know whether it can be used here.

After recording tv shows you can use GOM media player to play files. This is simply great player to play all kinds of video file.
