Rapidshare is a free sharing service. You can download for free from it. You can pay for additional service they offer only if you're willing to.

I dunno any hack that works with free account. There were some hacks available, but Rapidshare is fast in making such things invalid.

It won't help you to get as many features as its premium accounts do, but it downloads files better than a web browser.

When it works it is very helpful, especially for those who have slow Internet connection since, because premium account allows to use download managers and resumable downloads.
