I have been trying to figure out exactly how to stream live on a website host such as "justin.tv" or "stickam.com". However, the device I am using is or is very similar to a video box: Hauppauge HD PVR High Definition Personal Video Recorder

It uses a USB to transfer a feed onto my computer using a program known as ArcSoft TotalMedia Extreme. Which is software that came with the device. When I am told to select a Video source, the name of the hardware does appear. So I am pretty sure there is a way I can use it as a video source, but for now there is no picture or sound when I attempt this process.

Can anyone be of assistance to me?

Hello, I am doing live streaming on the Internet and I use blinkotv.com, a solution from the company I work for.

You have a trial there and can download the broadcaster for free. You may test your video camera with that broadcaster to see if it finds the video source.
