If you want to pirate simfy streams, then read some other thread (http://stream-recorder.com/forum/simfy-de-simfy-com-stupid-website-p-t8580.html)!

review points:
+ similar to the services offered by TPM (http://stream-recorder.com/forum/thumbplay-music-thumbplay-com-review-t7737.html), all you can do is stream music online thru your mobile device or thru your PC (and eventually save tracks offline on your mobile device but not on your PC)
+ you can sign up for a 7days FREE trial w/o credit card
+ you can login via webinterface (http-login), or you can install the software "simfy Desktop" and login thru the software (sw-login)
+ the software simfy.exe is based on Adobe AIR technnology with integrated Adobe Flash streaming, so you must install Adobe AIR (http://www.adobe.com/products/air/) first!
+ streaming track URL's are easily captured with any preferred URL sniffer
+ what is being streamed are *.MP3-files in 128kbps (some albums are in CBR 192kbps, others are in VBR LAME V2, v3.98, v3.96, a.o.), streamed via the RTMPE-protocol
+ a typical streaming url has the following format:
rtmpe://c4.simfy.com:80/transit?doConnect=RN0CKCY3/mp3:***
with *** being a 284(!) chars long code string (e.g. cMTvg94I-HITU_xX....etcetc)
+ rtmpdump.exe is the only tool to download the MP3-files which come encapsulated in *.FLV-containers. the command line format is primitive:
rtmpdump -r "rtmpe://c3.simfy.com:80/transit?doConnect=RN0CKCY3/mp3:***" -o _trackXX.flv... while rtmpsrv.exe suggests a more :p verbose version:
rtmpdump -r "rtmpe://c7.simfy.com:80/transit?doConnect=RN0CKCY3" -a "transit?doConnect=RN0CKCY3" -f "WIN 10,1,82,76" -W "http://www.simfy.de/flash/player.swf?1289940175" -p "http://www.simfy.de/#/artists/3913-Michael-Jackson/albums/22346-Selections-From-Michael-Jacksons-This-Is-It" -C O:1 -C O:0 -y "mp3:***" -o _XXtrack.flv

+ extract the MP3 with FLVExtract

+ i can highly recommend this service. it is cheap (1 Jahr subscription = EUR99.99 only, plus the 7days FREE trial!! ), primitive, and the software is ultrafast and beautiful, see above screenshot.

If you have trouble with the streams, this is the thread for troubleshooting. Although i wont do it. I prefer my eMusic (http://all-streaming-media.com/downloadable-audio-and-video/eMusic-legal-mp3-free-music-downloads.htm) and Rhapsody (http://all-streaming-media.com/downloadable-audio-and-video/Rhapsody-music-download-and-subscription-service.htm) music service subscriptions! Good bye. :D
