Biezom kindly showed me how to find the mp4 url by turning off flash on Chrome, a few months ago.
Unfortunately the security seems to have been updated and the mp4 url isn't showing up anymore.

I can still get the .ts stream from the master m3u8 using livestreamer but would prefer the mp4 as it's higher quality.

Can anyone tell me how (or even if) the direct mp4 url can be found for this ?

Same way suggested by biezom ;)

I've disabled Chrome's flash and sniff out the link... (I've used fiddler to sniff it out, but I'm sure HttpFox, wireshark, or any other sniffer will do) ;)

Sorry to be a pain but could you walk me through how you're finding it with fiddler. I can see the m3u8 link but I still can't get the mp4 link.

Hi,

if you do use Fiddler then follow the traffic (see https protocol) and you find access to edge.api.brightcove which also used the referer of the video site.Now check the response and there you can find the video datas / infos.Just try again.
