I would greatly appreciate if someone can tell me how to/which program to download to be able to stream the videos off of www.the-n.com's "The Click". The site uses, It seems like, Adobe Flash Player.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can tell me.

Unfortunately, those don't work.
I don't know if it helps, but the Click displays as a pop up seperate. WM R didn't even read the URL and Replay find all the files except the video file.

WM R didn't even read the URL and Replay find all the files except the video file.
I can't check it out 'coz I'm unable to play the stream due to the country restrictions.
WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) and Replay A/V (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-AV-capture-Streaming-Video-Audio-Radio-Shows-Online-TV-Broadcasts-Video-Clips-Audio-Archives-Podcasts-Free-to-try.htm) don't work? It must be an RTMP stream then.
Have you checked the cache folder of your browser? Have you tried to get the stream URLs with other software (like freeware URL Snooper (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Project-URL-Snooper-Find-the-actual-stream-URL-Free-download.htm))?
In many cases Proxomitron (http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Proxomitron-Find-stream-URLs-for-HTTP-and-HTTPs-streams.htm) can find RTMP stream URL (See How to get the URL of a media stream (http://all-streaming-media/faq/recording-media-stream/faq-get-media-stream-URL.htm)). Although only RTMP MP3 streams from MySpace can be recorded ATM.

Hi -
These are indeed RTMP streams. Applian is working on a product that will record these - I was able to capture it with an early prototype.
Check back to all-streaming-media or Applian.com for news on when our RTMP recorder will be available.

Weird, because I know of people who've streamed stuff from there before but I wanted to do it myself so I wasn't limited to asking people.
Thanks for the help!
I'll for sure keep checking. Any ideas as to when it's going to become available?

Applian technologies is the first company to release RTMP stream ripper Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm). It can record HTTP/RTMP streaming flash .FLV videos and .MP3 audio streams from embedded Adobe Flash Player.

Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) can record MP3 and FLV files through the HTTP and RTMP protocols, while FLV Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/FLV-Recorder-flash-video-stream-recording-software.htm) can record FLV files only.
They use different ways of capturing RTMP packets. FLV Recorder uses winpcap while Replay Media Catcher works more like a firewall.
I prefer the support of Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm). Mostly because of the native english speakers with fast responses.
Besides Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) has a 30-day money-back guarantee. It means a lot to me.
Both programs are free to try so you may compare them without paying any money.

After that open your browser and navigate to a page with an embedded flash player.

Hi -
I've done this successfully from the-n.com. Try this:
1) Open Replay Media Catcher, and initiate a recording session.
2) Close your browser, then reopen it.
3) Go to the-n.com and play the video.

I use the default settings. I have never managed to get any wmv videos with it. It seemed to work with MP3 and FLV files only.
What kind of flash player do you have? Adobe Flash Player 9?
What kind of browser do you use?

Maybe it is your network adapter that gives so much trouble. Please PM me about internet connection you have.
Although at least Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) or FLV Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/FLV-Recorder-flash-video-stream-recording-software.htm) should work. Have you tried the latter?
Can you try it on your friend's PC?

I have IE 6.0.2900.2180.apsp.sp_2 and Firefox 2.0.0.3, NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller on a DSL 256 Internet connection. Replay AV 8 Works with youtube and on ifilm.com etc but not very good with the-n.com . I only get the images and ads from the-n not the actual videos. Replay catcher don't work at all.

The ads at the-n.com are streamed through the HTTP protocol so they are easy to get. Actual videos use RTMP protocol. I will send your system config to the developer. This is the first case of recording problems with Replay Media Catcher I have seen. And I don't really understand yet why you faced them.
Have you tried FLV Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/FLV-Recorder-flash-video-stream-recording-software.htm)? Does it work for you?

I really can't afford to purchase another program at this point of time. Hope you can help me figure out the problem.

It is always a good idea to try software before buying it.
Did you purchase Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) only or Audio Video Streaming Capture Suite (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/AV-stream-capture-bundle-Audio-Video-Streaming-Capture-Suite.htm)? Anyway they have a 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee.
I dunno how much time it will take to fix the problem. Maybe they will implement WinPCap like FLV Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/FLV-Recorder-flash-video-stream-recording-software.htm) as well. Usually the way they use to capture packets is more reliable. It works like a firewall. It seems like firewall like software can conflict with it.

Why should I be nervous? ;) I practice yoga when I am. At first I was really sceptical about it, but it really helps a lot.
By the way what kind of firewall and antispyware/antimalware software do you have? You may try to disable firewall or uninstall it temporarily and reinstall Replay Media Catcher and try again.

I tried it as well and no dice for me. I don't know if it's because the click has randomly decided it doesn't like my connection anymore and needs to buffer every 10 seconds (which it didn't do a week ago) thus rendering my screenrecorder virtually useless.
I hope we can find something that seems to work for everyone!

I suggest you to make a fresh install of Windows XP and try again. You may install WinXP onto Virtual PC or WM Vare.
p.s. Do not install any software especially firewalls, antispyware, antimalware before checking flash stream recorders you have problems with.
