Hi guys stumbled upon this on a p2p streaming forum its called rtmpGUI and made by a super moderator over there called advisethis. His made it open source and you can take a look and download it here - https://github.com/advisethis/rtmpGUI

It uses rtmpdump and vlc to view streams live. :)

rtmpGUI : How-To
The app is fairly simple to operate. To view a channel simply double click on the channel name in the Channel List.

No worries i think its great what your doing shame there is some people who are trying to destroy it for you by hijacking your database. Ive just updated to version 11 and every thing is sweet, shame the guy who made RTMPexplorer (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/RTMPExplorer-freeware-GUI-for-rtmpsrv-Windows.htm) could not take a leaf out of your book and make it opensource like your software.
