How to Rip/Record/Capture/Download FabChannel video stream?

Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) can Rip/Record/Capture/Download music videos from FabChannel. But the process of recording is a tad tricky:

Make sure you have the newest version of Media Catcher
When you get to the FabChannel page you want to record music videos from, you will find embed HTML code at the bottom of FabChannel.
Copy that code - the part you want starts with "http: and ends with "
Open a new browser window and paste the URL into the window, let it load and then click Play.
Replay Media Catcher will start recording as soon as the music video starts playing.

This sounds like a lot of steps, but really it's not once you try it out.

The reason you have to do this is because FabChannel has a lot of stuff going on (ads, garbage on the screen) and Media Catcher has a hard time picking out the stream from the rest of the garbage. Doing it this way removes all the garbage from the page and, as a result, Media Catcher has no problem picking up the stream.

as you might know fabchannel is closing on friday

Last time I captured a video from that site was last october and Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) 3 worked fine, in fact I didn't have to use the embed url, it catured directly from the site...but now that I'm trying to capture all of those awesome concerts that I used to watch all the time, can't make Replay work

does anybody know anyother way?

Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) doesn't have any RTMPE recording support in newer versions. And even the old plugin_zrtmp.dll version 5.3.6.9 doesn't really help me to record from FabChannel.

Other companies also prefer to stay DMCA compliant, so there are no RTMPE recorders that I can suggest. Screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) seems to be the only options here.

that's what I've been doing, capturing the screen but it takes me too much time

Thanks for that info, I didn't know anything about RTMPE
