Is it true that the Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) program is authenticating and thus sending my ip adress to the remote server of applian every time it starts ?!
Because when I denied the access the 'buy it' button reappears again when I restart it together with a message saying that authentication failed.

Most probably Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) checks whether the program is registered or not, and checks for updates. I don't think the registration should be checked once only, because otherwise it would be easier to make a cracked version. And I don't think Applian needs your IP address... what would they do with it anyway?
