I recently switched from a Sony eBook reader (http://all-streaming-media.com/links/sonyreader.php) to a Kindle (http://all-streaming-media.com/links/kindle.php) 2. Does anyone know whether it is possible to convert/migrate my DRM protected Sony eBooks onto my Kindle 2?

The best Sony format to Kindle (http://all-streaming-media.com/links/kindle.php) format conversion I've found is a 2 step process:

1. From .lrf/lrx to html using the ABC Amber Sony Converter available from
http://www.processtext.com/abcsonylrf.html

2. Then I use the Auto Kindle eBook Converter 0.4.50 available from
http://www.download.com/Auto-Kindle-eBook-Converter/3000-10743_4-10907625.html
to convert from .html to .mobi/azw

These 2 programs are free, easy to use and produce a very readable product.
I did find that making a (disposable) folder on my desktop to use in this alchemy was most handy.
