Hi,

Recently I am trying to save the video from AFI's website (the one in question is the videos under the '10 top 10' list). I have previous sucesss using Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) in the past on that site, but when I tried now I would get a 2 kb .flv file.

I have also tried using FLV Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/FLV-Recorder-flash-video-stream-recording-software.htm) on the site, thinking it might be a software glitch, and I got a 3-4 MB .@@@ file. The file size seems to make sense, but I could not get the .@@@ file to open in any way (which I found out later it's because it was never fully converted after recording).

Any help on the matter is much appreciated.

Yarrrrrrrrr Pirate, In the future please provide a direct link, so we can get to it and help you quicker. :-)

I looked for a good 5 minutes and was not able to find this 10 by top 10 list...Can you please provide me with the URL of the page/video you're trying to record, so I can trouble shoot the issue? :D

Always use the latest versions of RTMP Flash stream recorders (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-Adobe-Flash-FLV-videos.htm). If Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) doesn't work for you, please try other RTMP Flash stream recorders.

Many RTMP streams can't be recorded by the current generation of stream recorders. In such cases you can wait for newer versions to appear or use screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/).

Sorry about that. :P Here's the link to the list:

http://www.afi.com/10top10/default.aspx

Once you get to the site, click into either of the movie listed on there and you'd get to the page for that movie, and the interview clips is there.

As far as I know, both Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) and FLV Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/FLV-Recorder-flash-video-stream-recording-software.htm) that I have are the latest version. Thus I am guessing it might be something else at play.

I've tried to record with Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm), WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) and Orbit Downloader (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Download-manager-Orbit-Downloader-Record-HTTP-MMS-RTSP-RTMP-media-streams-Freeware.htm) to no avail. I can only suggest you to use screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/).
