Thanks for the URL on that one. Regarding java players, one station I know of that uses an embedded java player is http://www.wgnhradio.org/ When I click their "Listen Live" link, as best as I can tell their stream is at http://70.61.207.246/webstream.20?1175596844580 but it sounds terrible, slowed down and sort of like a cheap cassette tape being eaten. When I try that link in any external player, it comes up 404. I've even tried switching it to mms:// and deleting the question mark and number string. Any ideas?

Here's Proxomitron's log

You may use Proxomitron (http://%22http://all-streaming-media.com/find-stream-URL/Proxomitron-Find-stream-URLs-for-HTTP-and-HTTPs-streams.htm) to analyze whether they use cookies and user-agent.

They could also use a timestamp in the URL that expires so that the stream URL is no longer valid.

I didn't have any problem recording from the given URL with WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) and Replay A/V (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-AV-capture-Streaming-Video-Audio-Radio-Shows-Online-TV-Broadcasts-Video-Clips-Audio-Archives-Podcasts-Free-to-try.htm).

I guess many other MP3 Shoutcast stream rippers (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-audio-stream/mp3-audio-stream-rippers-grabbers-Download-live-Icecast-Shoutcast-compatible-radio-stations.htm) will do the job.
