Hello All,

I'd like to begin by informing that I've tried the search function and various suggested programs. I'm having trouble ripping a Camtasia SWF file that is streamed through my online class. The lecture features audio and video (speech on top of a powerpoint presentation).

The problem is the HTTPS protocol. Many of these programs do not have this functionality. Also, I can only be logged in at one location which makes this hairy.

Can anyone please offer some insight. The only reason I have to record it is because I cannot fast fwd / rewind / pause / etc. I have to replay the entire lecture which is ridiculous.

Thank you,

Matt

Have you tried to record using Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm)?

And you can always use screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) like Replay Video Capture (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/Replay-Video-Capture-Make-high-quality-recordings-from-anything-you-see-on-PC-screen.htm) to record anything you see on your screen.

try freeware WebVideoCap (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WebVideoCap-Freeware-stream-capture-software-for-HTTP-flash-RTSP-MMS-Windows-Media-streams.htm) first
