I have been trying to watch and save(record) the megavideo videos from quite some time
Techniques i have used so far...
IDM (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Internet-Download-Manager-Youtube-grabber-FLV-downloader.htm) ...doesnt give resume facility
replay catcher, jdownloader, Replay Video Capture (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/Replay-Video-Capture-Make-high-quality-recordings-from-anything-you-see-on-PC-screen.htm)...too slow
The max speeds it downloads is 10-20 kbps where as i can download in 50-60kbps with normal downloads using idm

When i play the video ,the video play smooth with occasional buffering
so what i decided is ...
when i watch the video ..it also need to be recorded or save somewhere with out taking double bandwidth...
(i think in replay catcher case if i keep watching same video in browser and start download ,it will be downloading in 2 places)

I tried vlc media player but it is not able to play MEGAVIDEO flv link(i got using idm or replay media catcher)

so what can i do ...

i want to watch and record video of megavideo

last option is screen capture
problem with that >buffering and low quality
i noticed real player record doesnt work with online stream

any software i can use

I have already said it works but some reason it downloads just at 20KBps in 512 internet connection

...guys, dont forget that there is a watch time limit (~70mins?) with FREE Megavideo users. If you want to watch the full length video, you must subscribe to Megavideo PREMIUM.

Btw, Megavideo converts the uploaded videos (i think!) to lower quality videos. If you want to get the source or original video file, try google torrents :eek:
