Hi All,

I am new here and not sure whether this is the correct thread for this. I am downloading trial video from totalvideo, mostly fishing video. But the problem is I can't rewind and fast forward the video, and it's really difficult. There are many instruction fishing video and the quality is very good.

I've tried screen capture software like ZD Soft Screen Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/ZD-Soft-Screen-Recorder-freeware-Windows-Free-video-screen-capture-software-supporting-audio-recording.htm). But I can only capture the audio not the video. I've already donloaded the latest xvid mpeg-4 codec as instruct but, still no picture.

I've also tried another software Tunebite (http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/TuneBite-Convert-DRM-protected-WMV-M4P-M4V-video-WMA-AAC-M4B-AA-music-audio-books-preserving-ID3-tags.htm). But the problem is it only capture first few second of the video. I checked the log file and I got the message "error opening wmv file". I have no problem watching it using Media player.

I really appreciate it if anybody can help me on this.
I am using
Windows XP with SP2
Window media Player 10 10.00.00.4058
IE version 6.

Thanks is advance

If the only problem you have is rewinding and fast forwarding your recorded Windows Media files, then you can just re-index ASF/WMV files (http://all-streaming-media.com/repair-broken-media/fix-broken-windows-media.htm).

To solve your problem with video acceleration you may use the following FAQ:
