Hi,
I tried searching, but couldn't find anything. Is there a way to record the new streamate format with Jaksta without using dvr capturing?
I'm referring to public streams btw

replay media catcher, in their older versions, is still the best software I think, just got some resources in the system, so if you need an alternative ways, i could create a rtmp script for it :)

Its not quite what you asked for, but if you use old versions of a web browser you can get the old version of streamate back. If you don't want to install another browser you can install a User Agent Switcher plugin into your main browser. You can spoof different browsers and operating systems while browsing the web. The old internet explorer or Opera Browser works best for me.

Oh so an older version of rmc will get the new format?
and yes I'd appreciate the script just in case I can't get it to work, thank you!

Oh really? What I've been doing is clearing cookies, and refresh the page, and it works until I log in, then I have to repeat that. Thanks!

That's what I do. I don't like the new versions of streamate. The video is most clear and best for recording in the old Opera browser for me. During my private shows, I use Replay Video Capture. Its a screen recorder that records a section of your screen. In public chat I use replay media catcher 5.

as far as I remember it has always been like that in the past years. the max. file length was about 7.30min lil less lil more.
time back the max file size was 120mb as well i think, but they just changed it to the max min length. just restart the finished file and it will download again another 7 min something.
if you wanna download continuously, rmc wont be your best choice. but with rtmp dump the same file ending will appear anyways.

Hi,
so you could try to reconnect the livestream (also if rtmpdump only allow it for none live streams) manually if you work with librtmp and your handle code.If the stream isnt connected anymore and no more bytes was reading then you could call RTMP_ReconnectStream and if it does success then bypass the first FLV Header Meta Data content (if present [byte 12]) and write from the next starting audio / video block into your output file go on.On that way you could continue the livestream download in one file.Of course its just a idea so I didnt tried it yet.
