Yes, I have tried the demo version of GetFLV (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/GetFLV-Download-and-convert-flash-video-streaming.htm) to see if it works, but I had some problems, the program recognized the video, but didn't download and I don't know where I can see the error log file.

The only program that works better than the screen recording solution is RipTiger (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Rip-Tiger-Capture-and-Convert-Web-Video-Streams.htm) new version 2.7.9 (older ones don't) it seems to be a somekind of mix version of a screen recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) and the ones that save the incoming files as played in the flash player like Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm).

If something works in this url it will work on the other urls of the website.

I have download the last version released, 8.8.6.4 (tuesday a have tested the 8.8.6.1).


It seems to have an improvement.

At the first time a played the video I got this information from the program:

"This video contains a special encrypt mechanism. You should reload webpage and play this again quickly as possible! You have to click "play button" if your video automatically does not play!!"

So, I did it! And the new information It gave was:

"GetFLV (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/GetFLV-Download-and-convert-flash-video-streaming.htm) has already obtained the necessary encrypted information! Download task has already begun, please check it."

Ok, after that I left the video playing and when it stopped I checked the download folder of the program, but the FLV files were with 1kb.

I closed the program I did it again, but nevermore the 2 informations came again. It only recognizes 2 files to be downloaded when the video starts. But it seems it's not downloading.

I saw some feedback that it can record rtmpe files and since I'm a devoted client of this soft as I used the older versions I was thinking to get this version also cause it'd be perfect if it records rtmpe.

Actually, it does record with screen capturing, it has this new feature, besides recording movies from streaming video online sites. I saw this on its site and I thought it'd be perfect if it's working properly. ;)

From another post here, I understood that rtmpdump (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rtmpdump-freeware-console-RTMP-downloading-application.htm) IS able to do it. I never tried it so please tell me if it really does RTMPE ripping or not.

Stop deceiving users! There are lots of better screen recorders (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/), but we do NOT discuss them here.


rtmpdump (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rtmpdump-freeware-console-RTMP-downloading-application.htm) can download RTMPE streams. The problem is that it can't find RTMPE URLs.

rtmpdump (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rtmpdump-freeware-console-RTMP-downloading-application.htm) also supports SecureToken now too. Of course, you need to be able to dig out the key for it yourself. Not sure that we can do anything about hotlink protection in rtmpdump itself; that's more of an HTTP client issue.
