How do you record these streams. I tried both Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) and FLV Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/FLV-Recorder-flash-video-stream-recording-software.htm) and it only picks up the "commericals" and not the actutally show itself. What am I doing wrong. Any one out there have any ideas?

PS. I used the search, but the key words like ABC, NBC, CBS .... doesn't show up. Sorry if this as been answered before.

If you click on the Fox on demand (Watch Full Episodes online) link you will be able to watch Full Episodes on Demand with a MoveMediaPlayer.

The ABC's Full Episode Player also uses MoveMediaPlayer.

While you can record RTMP and HTTP flash videos streams with Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) or FLV Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/FLV-Recorder-flash-video-stream-recording-software.htm), there are no stream recorders I know that can record from MoveMediaPlayer.

Screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/screen-capture-software.htm) seems to be the only way to record such videos.

Guys:

Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) 3.03 works perfectly!!!
The only downside: it only records 50% of the stream if it isn't from youtube, and is $35...

Hey Renegade, how did you get the Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm) to work? I downloaded and installed, but all it tried to record were the commercials. Doesn't even recognize the actual video. Is there a setting I need to adjust? Thanks.

Actually, I don't know. Are you using the latest version (3.03)? It worked perfectly fine for me (I was downloading a full episode of Flashpoint - that worked fine, but I can't be sure about the rest).

Oh yeah, do you have the full version, by the way?

Oops, never mind. It's just for CBS. My bad.

I haven't managed to capture any videos from Move Media Player with the latest version of Jaksta (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Jaksta-Streaming-Media%20Recorder-and-Converter.htm).

How do you dowload from fox.com/full-episodes (http://www.fox.com/full-episodes/) using rtmpdump. I've tried using the "-a", "-y" and "-W" options.

Try to record with screen recorders (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) like WM Capture (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/WM-Capture-screen-video-capture-software-that-records-with-high-quality.htm)

Thanks, but I'd prefer getting the actual file, because I'd have to spend time with the video open on my screen and the quality might be slightly reduced.

I know it can be done using RTMPDump (http://rtmpdump.mplayerhq.hu/), I just don't know what options I'm missing.
