I was using MovRecorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-quick-time.htm#MovRecorder) to download some streams from a that requires a membership. I was able to find the http address for the files I wanted to record. Then I got an email from the website company saying that I have been accessing the movies not the way they want me to and if continues, they will suspend my account. They tell me to open the files by clicking the view button only. MovRecorder does not recognize the Video if I do this. I can only DL the file with MovRecoder by going to Quicktime>file>open URL...
Then MovRecorder recognizes this. The movies do not show up in my Temp Internet files location either.
What do I need to do to get the rest of these files Downloaded?

I was just thinking, will screen capture software work for this? I would like to keep the file as a .mov and keep the software to free, or a trial

Screen capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/screen-capture-software.htm) can record anything from your screen. I haven't seen a decent free screen capture software so far. Almost all of them are free to try.
You may need to read our hint on Avoiding Black screen when recording video with Screen Capture software from QuickTime player (http://all-streaming-media.com/streaming-media-faq/faq-QuickTime-Player-and-screen-capture-problem-black-screen.htm).
Also I suggest you to learn to get stream URLs using URL Snooper & Packet Sniffer software (http://all-streaming-media.com/packet-sniffer/searching-for-a-stream-URL-with-packet-sniffers-and-URL-snoopers.htm). Free Project URL Snooper is the URL snooper software I recommend.
Unlike RTSP Quick Time (QT) streams, QT HTTP streams can be downloaded by any download manager (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/all-streaming-video-recording-software.htm). However HTTP protocol allows software to send a so called User Agent within an HTTP request. So web-site owners can identify you by user agent.
Many download manager allow you to change the user agent. But first you need to learn what kind of user agent your player or embedded player uses.
You may do this by using a packet sniffer & URL snooper software.
p.s. It is better to experiment with recording at the end of your membership.
There is no way to identify that you record with screen capture software.

thanks, I got replay screencast (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/screen-capture-software.htm#ReplayScreencast). It works, but it puts it into a wmv file and not as crisp and clear as what I am seeing. I may and just try DL all the vids again later changing my agent as you suggested. I am going to record all of the vids first to make sure I have at least something before my acct gets canceled
Thanks for your help
