Hi, i'm sorry to bother you, but I figured you might know the answer to my question based on the following video

WM Recorder: How to Capture Streaming Video from online sources (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyShXxyuZRE)

wyShXxyuZRE

Okay, so I got WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) 12, installed it, works fine. Now, I went to the website www . hulu . com, after I saw you using it, and I decided to try to record a full length movie(Liar Liar ;p). The problem I am running into is that they play a short advertisement prior to the movie, and the WM Recorder is recording the advertisement, but when the movie starts, however, it does not "recognize", for lack of a better word, the full length film, only the advertisement.

Are you aware of any way around this, or shall I just forget that idea?

Thanks in advance.

p.s. I have tried other stream downloading methods, and none of them seem to recognize the feature film as a "downloadable file", only the advertisement.

Unfortunately, due to copyright reasons, WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) is NOT able to record from hulu at the moment.

At the moment, you may want to try Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-HTTP-RTMP-FLV-MP3-ripper-recorder.htm) or a Screen Capture (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/) program. Those work fine for now.

I did speak with the developer of WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) btw, and he is still looking into the possibility of recording from hulu again, but for now it's unknown.

Good luck! :)

The ability to save any media that comes across my screen for fair use is THE ENTIRE REASON I PURCHASED WMRECORDER. I could give you a million legal reasons for wanting to save a hulu stream.

If WMRecorder is bowing to Hulu's wishes to disable stream recording, then WMRecorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) is missing the point entirely and is a dinosaur. Would you have me break out my VCR?!

Lame.

WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) offers a 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee.

WM Recorder can't record from Hulu, because Hulu uses secure RTMPE protocol. All stream recorders that record RTMPE streams violate DMCA.
