1. GETFLV: problems in retrieving files
2. Stream Transport , 10053 unknown error

I used the trial version of GetFLV (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/GetFLV-Download-and-convert-flash-video-streaming.htm) in order to download from the following site:
"http://inregistrari.antena3.ro/view-Sinteza_Zilei_cu_Mihai_Gadea-12.html"
The page has an embedded player. Trying to download the video from April 22, two files are retrieved:
rtmpe://fms17.mediadirect.ro:1935/recantena3?id=1355566mp4:Sinteza_Zilei_cu_Mihai_Ga dea_2010-04-22_21-30-00_low.mp4
rtmpe://fms17.mediadirect.ro:1935/recantena3?id=1355566

The second file cannot be downloaded, maybe because the url address is not of a valid file.


Using another program (StreamTransport (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/StreamTransport-Download-HTTP-RTMP-RTMPE-streams.htm)) I retrieved the address of the second file:
rtmpe://fms17.mediadirect.ro:1935/recantena3?id=1355566/mp4:Sinteza_Zilei_cu_Mihai_Gadea_2010-04-22_21-30-00.mp4
This file is a higher resolution video.


Question: Why getflv doesn't retrieve correctly the address of the second file?
How can this problem be solved in order to be able to download the file?

Regarding stream transport, it often gives broken downloads, it can't be used. See a report below:

i tried rtmpdump (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rtmpdump-freeware-console-RTMP-downloading-application.htm) -r "rtmpe://fms7.mediadirect.ro:80/recantena3?id=4105285/mp4:Sinteza_Zilei_cu_Mihai_Gadea_2010-04-22_21-30-00.mp4" -o "test.mp4"

and it downloads file too

Hi all,

thanks to a friend i've discovered the rtmpdump tool, wich is great for me.

I've installed it and it seems to work, but not for livestreams.
I wanted to record the Schalke04-InterMilan game toninght and found a rtmp server that shows it.

this is the command i'm executing:

rtmpdump -r "rtmp://fms-de01.mediadirect.ro/live/dolcesport/&id=dolcesport" -o ~/schalke-inter.flv --live

I only get the following
RTMPDump v2.3

INFO: Connected...

After connected, it just stops.

The file generated is a file of 0KB



Does anyone have an idea what that could be?


ps: I know it's not really legal but I'm a football coach and want to use some of the footage in my club to show how it's done ;)

Hi guys.
As you know, most of Romania's TV streams go through the mediadirect.ro servers. Several TV stations broadcasting online use these servers now.

Examples - Antena 3 (hxxp://www.antena3.ro/live.php)

Now it seems they've added some sort of request to the server that only the original webpage of the transmission is supplying, as there's no alternative player or streamer that would work - also no recording either. After 30 seconds of recording, the connection breaks. Tried on GetFLV (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/GetFLV-Download-and-convert-flash-video-streaming.htm), StreamTransport (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/StreamTransport-Download-HTTP-RTMP-RTMPE-streams.htm), RTMPdump (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rtmpdump-freeware-console-RTMP-downloading-application.htm).

Any ideas?
