Is there any software that I can use for capturing Silverlight streams like this one:
http://player.rv.va/vaticanplayer01.asp?language=en&visual=Tv? I was trying to use the demo version of Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-download-and-capture-streaming-music-radio-video.htm), it records many short fragments but no software is able to play them.

Do you use Replay Media Catcher (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-Media-Catcher-download-and-capture-streaming-music-radio-video.htm) 4.2.1? It is downloading an MKV file for me.

I get the "Unexpected error" from time to time. Not sure whether this is happening because of the server load or something else. Will try to find out.

I was using an older relase 4.1.6, with the newest one I'm receiving an mkv file too. But I can only get the Spanish channel which is wrongly described as "audio_ita", I'd prefer "audio". And as RMC's demo version won't download more than 1 minute of a live stream, is there any freeware that could do it?

I managed to use ISMDownloader and it works fine!
