I have purchased software to help me pass an exam. In order to run the software, I need to register the first time i use it by having a connection to the internet the first time i use it. Thereafter, the internet is not needed.
The problem is that I paid for the software, yet I am only allowed to re-register for a maximum of three times, but i sometimes need to re-format the computer and this means after three times of reformatting and re-registering I will no longer have an access to files i paid for!!!
My question is this: Do the un-drm softwares available (freeme, and fairuse4all) work for non wmv/wma files? or better is there software that frees me from this problem.

It is hard to understand what kind of files you have, so I can only suggest to try screen video capture software (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-from-screen/).
