I got this: "http://ndtv.live.cdn.bitgravity.com/ndtv/live/ndtvindialive256", but it only opens for 1 sec then stops!

Thank you sir, but I want to play it in vlc, what's the code to play it? i replaced the -o .....with the path to vlc on my machine, but it only opens with a still image (1 frame) it's not playing :(

Seems to be a problem with VLC. You can try to use another video player (e.g. MPC-HC (https://mpc-hc.org)) and it should work:
